静电植绒是静电技术在纺织业中的重要应用之一。最早的静电植绒是上世纪20年代在德国开始的，此后日本在50年代初也开始研究，我国在70年代才兴起。静电植绒是一种利用电离物理现象进行器物表面植绒的加工工艺，因有生产效率高、成本低、花色品种多、适应面宽等优点而被广泛用于多种行业。发展到现在，已从原来的制鞋业和建筑业用布,进入到服装、装饰布、汽车内饰和文具用品、玩具、包装业、装璜等众多行业。
